RECROOM LEGACY (RRL) - PRIVACY POLICY & TERMS OF USE

Last updated: September 9, 2026

RecRoom Legacy ("RRL", "we", "us") is an independent, fan-run preservation project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rec Room Inc. "Rec Room" is a trademark of its respective owner; it is referenced here solely to describe compatibility with archived client builds.

1. WHAT WE COLLECT

To operate LegacyNet, RRL may store the account information you provide (username, email, hashed password), in-game data (avatars, rooms, inventory), and basic technical logs (IP address, client version, timestamps) needed to keep servers online and secure.

2. HOW WE USE IT

Data is used only to authenticate you, sync your in-game progress across sessions, keep LegacyNet stable, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except when required by law.

3. COOKIES & STORAGE

The website may use minimal local storage/cookies strictly to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. No third-party ad or tracking cookies are set by RRL.

4. YOUR CHOICES

You may request a copy of your data or request account/data deletion at any time by opening a support ticket on Discord. Deleted accounts are removed from LegacyNet within a reasonable timeframe.

5. TERMS OF USE

LegacyNet is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as a hobbyist preservation effort. Service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice. Don't abuse, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the servers; accounts found doing so may be suspended or removed.

6. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

RRL does not integrate with, use, or rely on any Meta/Facebook Platform APIs, SDKs, or Login products, and no data collected by RRL is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. Where we link out to third-party sites (Discord, Reddit, X.com), those services have their own privacy practices, which are outside of RRL's control.

7. CONTACT

Questions about this policy can be sent via X.com, Discord, or Reddit.
